2009 Knoxville City Championship

Bob Hydzik scored a double play. He won the Amateur Championship (open to players rated under "2000" and unrated), and tied for first in the City Championship (a closed round-robin) with FM Pete Bereolos.

August 2010 Fischer-Random Tournament

FM Pete Bereolos won the tournament 6-0.

Skyler Winchester finished in second place.

The prizes were donated by LM Leonard Dickerson.

May 2008 Oak Ridge Chess Event

Greater Knoxville Chess Club members Leonard Dickerson and Keith Eatherly helped man the chess table at an all night lockdown for graduating Seniors of Oak Ridge High School.
