2011 Knoxville City Championship

FM Pete Bereolos won the 2011 Knoxville City Chess Championship with a perfect score of 5-0.

CM Matthew Marsh finished in second place with 4-1.

2011 Knoxville Amateur Championship

This tournament, for players rated under "2000" or unrated, was won by Jordan Hoyos.

The prize for the Amateur was donated by Douglas Forsythe.


April 2012 5-Minute Tournament

Rodger Swann won the tournament with a perfect score of 6-0. John Hamilton finished second with 5-1. The tournament was an unrated round-robin, held on April 19.

Prizes were donated by Rodger Swann and LM Leonard Dickerson.


April 2012 Quick-Chess (G/9) Tournament

Rodger Swann won the tournament with a perfect score of 4-0. David Mueller finished second with 3-1. The tournament was a USCF rated Swiss, held on April 12.

Prizes were donated by Rodger Swann and LM Leonard Dickerson.


May 2008 Oak Ridge Chess Event

Greater Knoxville Chess Club members Leonard Dickerson and Keith Eatherly helped man the chess table at an all night lockdown for graduating Seniors of Oak Ridge High School.
