USCF Rated, Six Player Round Robin

The top two finishers from the September 2004 Qualifier Tournament will play in the Championship.
Additionally, the winners of the 2004 January, March, May, and July club tournaments will play in the Championship. If one of these tournaments ends in a tie, a playoff will be held shortly after the end of the tournament.
If the same player wins more than one club tournament, the second place finisher will qualify instead. If there's a tie for second place, a playoff will be held shortly after the end of the tournament.
If any qualifiers from the club tournaments are unable to participate in the Championship, they will be replaced by the top finishers from the September 2004 Qualifier Tournament who haven't already qualified.
If a qualifier Rated under 2000 is unable to participate in the Championship, and informs the Director of Club Events before September 1, he is eligible to enter the 2004 Knoxville Amateur Championship.
