There are two ways to qualify for the Championship:

  1. The winners of our five Rated Swisses (held in January, March, May, July, and September 2008) will play in the Championship.

  2. The player who doesn't win a Rated Swiss- but who makes the highest cumulative score in our five Rated Swisses during 2008, will play in the Championship.
