The GKCC meets at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church
2931 Kingston Pike Knoxville, Tennessee 37919 -- Room C

We meet at 7:00 p.m. every Thursday. Closing time varies from 9:30 -11:00 p.m. depending on the event scheduled for that night.

Club Membership

Only members are eligible to play in our Rated club tournaments.

Membership Fees:

Adult — $20 / year

Under 18 — $10 / year

Club Events

Casual Games are always available — regardless of what event is scheduled

USCF Rated Swiss Tournaments begin on the first Thursdays of January, March, May, July, September, and November, and run for four Thursdays.

The Knoxville City Chess Championship and Amateur Championship are held at the club every November, starting on the first Thursday of the month.

USCF Rated Quick-ChessTournaments are held on the second Thursdays of February, April, June, August, October, and December.
